From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light and toasted malty. Bitter and slight breadish. Dry and light mslty finish.

1000ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes rötlichbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, nussig, leicht schokoladig. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, Karamell, sehr leichte Bitterkeit, schokoadig, nussig, klasse!

Der Antrunk des Dunklen ist frisch-hopfig, dabei aber etwas muffig. Im Hauptteil wird es etwas malziger und süßlicher, bleibt allerdings für meinen Geschmack einen Tick zu laff-neutral. Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang und etwas röstmalzig-muffig. Insgesamt aber ein gut trinkbares Brauhaus-Dunkel. --> 12/12/10/10

Wenig süßer Antrunk, leicht röstig, mild. Geringe Malzigkeit, ebenfalls nur wenig hopfig. Der Hopfen steigert sich leicht, die Bitterkeit ist zum Ende erschmeckbar und passt zum sonst milden Abgang. 12/10/9/8//9

Draught @ Stumm’s Brauhaus im Neunkircher, Saarbrucker Strasse 16, Neunkirchen, Saarland, Germany 66538.ABV: 4.5%. Unclear - hazy matt medium amber colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light nutty. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, nutty, medium dry, dry grass. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121004]

Draft at the brewpub. Clear dark amber color, huge tan head. Aroma of brown bread and caramel. Taste is sweet with a touch of smoke. Nice.

Draught: Poured a brown with a hint of red edges, head was full beige. The aroma is sweet with malt. Taste starts out fresh and grain a bit surprising, as it warms the caramel malt breaks through. Very tasty brew.

Tap. Chocolate toffee malt flavor. Amber color with large fluffy head. Creamy toffee malt flavor. Nice, tasty beer.
