A refreshing, delicately sweet and lightly smoked lager. Using oak smoked malt the smoky character of this lager is far more subtle than peat smoke giving it a complex flavour profike tgat is easy drinking. A small addition of Dextrin malt adds body to this clean and complex lager.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy golden, nose is smoked cheese, ham, toffee, floral, taste is sweet toffee, smoky, lemon, floral. Cpuld be smokier. --- Beer merged from original tick of Beer Club 37/72: Smoked Lager on 13 Aug 2021 at 22:44 - Score: 7

Bottle from Beer Club. Appearance - golden with a very light haze. Neat white head. Nose - ham, brown bread and lemon. Taste - ham and bread up front, then citrus and herb at the back with smoke returning. Palate - light bodied, dry smoky finish. Overall - good.
