Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Premier Hop. Pours thick and flat, deep brown, no head. Big, big sweet flavour, lots of slick dark malts, gooey chocolate, toasted honey, creamy coffee, a little bitter espresso and roast, background alcohol. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with soft carbonation. Warming finish, somewhat sticky, lots of dark malt character, some raisins, more chocolate, rocky road, marshmallows, bittersweet coffee, burnt toffee. Enjoyable stuff overall. Quite hearty.
