Bottle from Beer Club. Appearance - golden amber with a solid white head. Nose - citrus and grassiness but predominantly a fruit cake thing going on. Taste - dried orange, sultanas and generally heading in the direction of cake again. A bitter salad note on the finish. Palate - creamy in texture, medium bodied. Bitterness at the very end. Overall - good. Not what I expected.
