A simple grist of pale barley and wheat has been kettle soured using the bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum. Hopped with the US variety Cascade to provide a spicy orange character and subtlety bittered with German Magnum hops, the post-fermentation addition of zested oranges and lemon brings out a refreshing zingy sharpness.

Bottle from Beer Club. Appearance - very pale yellow, with a big fluffy snow white head. Nose - sour, zesty lemonade, elements of homemade lemonade. Taste - lemon again, not as sour as the nose, but still zingy. Palate - light bodied, dry zingy finish, decent linger. Overall - nose better than taste, but good all the same.
