Bottle from Beer Zoo. Clear ruby body with a thin beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of cherry, earth and Dr Pepper. Flavour of toffee, prunes and plum. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. It’s been a long time since I last tried a Drygate beer. This is very good - it’s full of warming aromas and flavours and hides the ABV well.

Keg at the brewery. Pours deep ruby, nose is caramel, toffee, berries, taste is similar, quite dry.
