Cask (gravity) @ Hop Pole Inn, [ Hop Pole Beer Festival & Aylesbury Brewhouse Grand Opening 2011 ], 83 Bicester Road, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England HP19 9AZ.Light unclear light medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, lemon, grass, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sulfur. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. IMO. not unbalanced, infact very nice, but i did not like the sulfor i got in the flavor sorry Gazza and Dave *

Bottle, courtesy of Tom at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London at the end of the evening 25.02.12 Gold in colour with a white head. Some pine noticeable on the nose, little bit of resin and also some tropical fruits showing, this ends with a nice dryness. Another cracker from Gazza and Dave, (rating on phone) A8 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cask at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury. Hazy pale golden. Intense tropical fruit aroma. Mid sweet with light body and soft mouthfeel. Mint and pears, grapefruit and black currant. Long bitterness. Nicely drinkable despite being massively hoppy.
