From la Goutte d'Or, at Paris. It is a basical lager but it is acceptable, dry, malty, a bit watery, extract of hop, refreshing for summer.Happy to find some African beers in Paris, not so easy to find it.28.08.2019

Bottle 0,65ltr: Golden clear colored brew with an unexpected dry bitter taste, not much of sweetness also. And that is what expected, annoying sticky sweetness. Isenbeck must be the German "33 Export" answer. Bought it at Africa Shop. Spui,The Hague.

clear golden colour, one inch of creamy white head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of grassy, grainy, some hay, herbal and minimal lemongrassy notes; taste of hoppy bitterness with some sourish, metallic, medicinal, as well as peppery notes; not that bad

26/6/2023. Bottle from Marek. Cheers. Pours clear deep golden with a large lasting frothy white head. Good looking pour. Aroma is sweet malts, grain, hay, light fruits, slight starchy notes. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness, vague sourdough edge. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Actually not bad.

Bottle at Le Méridien, Douala. It pours clear golden yell with a large white head. The nose is dough, buttered white toast, grain, light sweetness and almost chemically aspect. The taste is dough, sweet pale malt, grain, earth, grass, lemon pith and faint butter with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Light-medium body and high carbonation. It was challenge to get through this. Weak and watery. Blah.
