Bottle from the brewery. It pours hazy reddish - brown with a medium foamy off-white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, spiced, gingerbread, brown bread, earthy, oily, resin, bit of caramel and sticky toffee pudding. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, slick, toasty brown sugars, warming spice, Jamaican gingerbread, brown bread, earth, chewy malt and a touch of alcohol with a warming spiced finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not bad.
