Bottle. Pours hazy orangeish amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of citrus, hops and fruit, with estery notes and touches of grain. Bitter, hoppy and grassy and spicy flavour with sourish, grainy notes and rough touches of yeast, and hints of fruit and citrus. Bitter aftertaste with citric and estery notes. Not bad.

Bottle, 5.7%. Malty and spicy aroma. Cloudy dark amber colour. Very big stable off-white head. The flavour is papery, spicy, nutmeg, creamy, yeasty. Too yeasty for me, otherwise good.

On cask at the Abbotsford. Appearance - amber to red with a decent head. Nose - red fruits and hobnob biscuits. Taste - lightly spiced biscuit. Dried fruit. Burnt bread. Palate - crunchy and close to medium bodied. Dry finish. A bit challenging but falls short of being astringent. Overall - decent.

Bottle, gift from Stu. Hazy ruby/amber body with a thick off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel and tea. Flavour of earth and sweet malt. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Nice but less flavoursome and complex than I’d hoped.
