Sometimes the simple things in life are the best. We take Pilsner malt from Germany and combine with three traditional hop varieties – Magnum, Perle and Hallertauer Mittelfruh – to produce a clean, unfiltered, Hop Bitter Lager Beer.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Hazy golden, mid sized head. Distinct grassy hop aroma. Dry with light body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Crisp bread, salty grassy hops. Very bitter finish. Nice hops, but edgy malt.

440ml Can - Golden with a white head and a slight haze. Lime, grass, hay and bread in the aroma. Crisp taste with bready malts, hay and citrus detected. A great lager that would stand up to or surpass many German lagers.

Can BBE in 8 months. Slightly cloudy straw colour, decent head and lacing. Grainy and floral aroma. Moderately sweet, grassy hop taste, a little citrus and spice. Decent body for a lager type, soft carbonation. Enjoyable

440ml can. Poured a hazy light golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, cardboard, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, crisp, funky yeast, light toffee, gluey, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A fairly average lager. Drinkable and refreshing.
