Sometimes the simple things in life are the best. We take Pilsner malt from Germany and combine with three traditional hop varieties – Magnum, Perle and Hallertauer Mittelfruh – to produce a clean, unfiltered, Hop Bitter Lager Beer.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 4.8%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts and grassy, herbal and floral hops. Crisp flavour, a decent and well hopped pilsener.

Solid enough but a hint too dark bread malty for my kellerbier sweet spot

Can sample at a tasting at troubles's place. Thanks troubles. Hazy yellow. Graininess, vegetal lager yeast, some grassy hops, faint malt sweetness, nice bitterish grassy finish.

Can from Waitrose in Momouth. A really nice fresh, hoppy keller style pils with a nice crunchy Pilsner bitterness to it. Fresh.
