0.473l can from Foodland Eganville. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, dried fruit and grass. Pours clear amber brown color with medium sized soapy tan-like head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts medium sweet caramelly and bready, following is dried fruity, grassy and nutty, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Cheap, but good…

Beautiful aromas of toffee with a touch of cherries and a hint of chocolate make up the essence of this well malted olfactory. Floral hops are also part of it. A creamy but sparkling foam that quickly descends settles on a crystal clear dark amber liquid. Caramel in the form of toffee dominates widely the taste palette and is accompanied by maraschino cherries and light chocolate. Floral hops accompany the whole thing but do not give a very great bitterness. The residual sugars spread for long seconds in the finish making the sweet side dominant throughout the taste process. The body is ample, the texture rather round and the carbonation active. A caramelized and sweet Brown Ale that lacks a bit of bitterness. O:7.179 V:4.5 G:7.378 C:3.938 O:15 T:37.995
