Draught, not much aroma at all, mild is a good word. A bit of hops but not much else. Session etc.

Bottle. Dark gold with hints of amber. Large head with nice lace. Aroma is nicely balanced. And taste is also nicely balanced.

Pours dark amber with a thick white head. Heavy carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste is similar to that of an IPA with a complex variety of hops on the tongue. Palate is again similar to that of an IPA but with a distinctly malty aftertaste. Not bad.

Compliments of jwc215...thanks, Joe!

This pours from 12oz bottle a cloudy amber with a nice head of foam that eventually shrinks to a fine layer and has some good lacing.

The smell has a fruity and sweetish nose to it. I like it.

The taste on first sip is big on bread followed by some hop fruitiness and some good caramel malty sweetness. Very tasty.
Further sips in and my palate is really liking this brew. So smooth and yet so tasty....the hops try hard to take over but the more than ample malt presence keeps it in check and makes for some very good balance except in the finish, where it ends up being both bready and slightly bitter. Good aftertaste.

Bottom line: This is a very good APA and I particulary like how neither the hops nor the malt dominates the flavour. I recommend it.

Taster pour at Powder Keg Beer and Chili Festival. Appearance is light brown with a light covering of off-white head, minimal lacing. Aroma is general graininess-- almost metallic--light pilsner-type malts. Taste is mild. Light grain, benign floral sweetness. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste, floral to lightly sweet and nondescript malty finish. Overall, this is sort of bland, with some bitterness.
