Medium brown, no head. Coffee nose with coffee taste and a hint of chocolate. OK, but I can’t get past the raw, harsh, one-dimensional coffee flavour. 5

Bottled 60cl (PBF, BB 09/2012)
Very deep ruby, almost opaque color, small beige head. Cold coffee, licorice, dark malts in the aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Flavor of good coffee - maybe not the best in beer - a bit ashy too. Quite weak palate for ABV. Interesting.

Bottled at PBF. Near black, small beige head. Concentrated roasty coffee aroma. Mid dry with solid, well rounded mouthfeel. Lots of quality coffee. Pleasant and laid back, yet full of coffee flavour. Never complex, just highly enjoyable.

Bottled@PBF2012. Very deep amber colour with some small beige head. Raw roasted coffee, ashes with some mild chocolate. Flavour is coffee, mild roasted notes as well as toffee and some mild chocolate. Tasting like cold coffee and having an ashtray to that.

Bottle from trade with sevenlee, many thanks. Dark brown color with minimal beige head. Aroma of coffee and rum. Taste, coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, roasted malt with nice long dry bitter finish. Little bit thin bodied, but overall highly drinkable porter.
