This DIPA is an assertive, high-gravity beer with an extremely powerful—yet pleasant—hop profile. A strong malt backbone keeps the hops balanced, and a large dose of local Georgia honey complements the natural sweetness of the malt. This beer has a beautiful copper color and notes of citrus, caramel, and honeysuckle.

Seems viscous, with a heady mix of orange marmalade, caramel, honey, and a firm vein of pine on the back end. Rough around the edges, with some wort-ish notes and slack carbonation. Okay.

Taster at the Lincoln Fill Station. Pours a clear, bronze color, with an average, frothy, white head. The aroma is pine sap, rose water, light caraway, and dried grapefruit. Sweet and malty, with a sticky, sharp bitterness. Medium body, slick, and hard. Aggressive, resinous, and pretty tasty.
