Keg at the brewery, 10/26/24. New brewery! Brewery #2342, USA #1938, WY #12. Murky brown, medium tan head, average retention. Aroma of caramel, toffee, raisin. Taste is toffee, raisin, smoke. Well balanced.

Taster at the brewery. Pours dark brown, with a small, beige head. The aroma is anise, burnt toast, chicory, walnut, and dirt. Sweet and malty, with a sticky, off bitterness. Medium body, hard, and grainy. Some good stuff in there, but an unfortunate flavor.

On draught at Frontier Brewing and Taproom.
Pours a beautiful clear mahogany, aboot an inch of foam.
Smells malty, roasted malt, caramel, some hints of smoke.
The taste has a very good malt character, see above, light smoke or is it peat? Whatever, it is very nice.
Medium mouthfeel, very drinkable; only 5.5% abv.
I recommend it.
