Had it first 1.5 days back, since then bottle was closed, so I guess rating now my be bit off, but still even when first opened, it was nothing special... Smell - weak to medium strong, malt, bit of bread. Foam - thin, watery, sweet, some bread tones, wuite small. Appearance - clear, medium dark, red/brown. Taste - sweet, some bread, some malt, some off taste dont like it. Poor kvass, dont like it.

Bottle from Eurodeli, Tilst. Clear brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and heavy brown sugar. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. Watery. 180518

Bottle in Riga. Smooth malty beginning. Not too sweetish, round and malty with a rye sourish malty aftertaste. Sessionable and refreshing. Nice one.

50cl bottle from some shop in Latvia. Dark ruby without much head to speak of. Mild bready and malty aroma with notes of dried fruits and caramel. Sweet, but quite balanced with pleasant malty flavours and a hint of acidity. Smooth and surprisingly drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kvass on 08 Jun 2016 at 20:06 - Score: 6

Poured from a 1500ml pet bottle, plastic screw cap, thanks to djoeye for the share. Clear ruby-brown body, a few bubbles on the surface. Sweet dark bready nose. Taste of prunes and dark bread. Low carbonation level. Easy to drink and quite refreshing (Tromsø 16.09.2015).

Draught @ Alaus Stacija, Riga, Latvia.Unclear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, bread, brown sugar, breakfast bread crumbles of ryebread and sugar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, brown sugar, sweet rye bread - bread. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120729]

Draught at Alaus Stacija, Riga. Cloudy dark brown, small head. Distinct bready nose with some red berries. Fresh, light and spritzy. Butter and sugar Mid sweet, but highly refreshing. No bitterness. Much superior to all commercial kvass.
