Unsere Erinnerung an die guten alten Zeiten: Weniger hopfenbetont als ein Pils, ist es unsere Reminiszenz an den weltweit berühmten Bierstil, der Dortmund bis in die 1970er Jahre bekannt machte!

When in Dortmund, it's important to drink the OG styles. Ain't nuthin' but a D thang. This is very nice, like an amped up Helles. Bread AND biscuit.

330ml bottle. Clear, orange golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and strawy, pale malty and minimally grassy, hoppy aroma. Taste is slightly strawy, pale malty, a touch of light caramel, mildly bitter, grassy hoppy counterpart. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Feels really like the 70s, you might even believe you could taste some cigarette smoke impregnated train station pub ambience - authentic, not good.

0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Clear dark golden with an one finger white head in the glass. Sweet caramel and soft grainy on the nose. Taste starts grainy with straw and caramel. Decent bitterness, little bit fruity, metallic hints. Okay.

0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before July 2019. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately grassy and a little floral aroma of grains, some straw and traces of vanilla. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, a bit malty, gently grassy and a little floral taste of grains, some straw and a touch of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy and a little musty finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Export, nothing spectacular and just as boring as the style.

Bottle from Bergmann Kiosk, Dortmund. Dark amber coloured with a very small head. Aroma is barley all the way. Taste is malty, slighty fruity and butter. Hops stay in the background. Medium carbonation. Süffig. Ok but it’s just not my favourite style.
