500ml bottle. Clear dark reddish-amber with average off-white macropore head. A soapy hop note and a cautious dark malt aroma interfere with each other. Slightly roasty dark malt taste, dark bread, some chaff, intensening toward the finish. Everytime you could expect some sweetness coming in, a dry grainy note regains strength.

bottle from biershop-bayern. Hazy, deep chestnut-brown colour, large and creamy, very persistent off-white to beige head. Roasty nose with hoppy hints. Medium-bodied, malty with intensive and dry roast flavours, caramel, cocoa powder, a touch of espresso and a shy touch of yeast. Smooth palate. A delight - anytime again!

Bottled (thanks Timo A!). Copper colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white to beige head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready malts, some earthyness, mild herbal notes as well as some wooden notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, sweet malty with some slight foral and herbal bitterness. Pleasantly balanced and quite nice.

Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Toasty malty taste with shades of caramel, herbal spicy notes and a subtle touch of citrus; moderately dry, bitter-sweet toasty malty and slightly herbal hoppy finish with notes of caramel and a tinge of citrus in the aftertaste. 06.XII.11

50 cl bottle, BBE 18.04.2012
Aroma is rather malty with some chocolate, hints of coffee, grain and hay. Flavour is stale and malty and rather strong on hay. Also some chocolate. Decent.

An amber beer with a small disappearing head. There is not much aroma, while the flavor is sweet hoppy with notes of roasted bread and caramel, while the mouthfeel is dry.
