"Tassilator" von der Brauerei Wasserburger, Flasche von Getränke Endres, Dingolfing. - Tief dunkelbraun, undurchsichtig.

Sticky malty beginning. Lots of caramel, dark aroma without too much roast. Brown caramelly sugar, not too sweetish, easy to drink with a moderate bitterness in the end. Nice and round Doppelbock, but could have a bit more depth.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass also, dark black, nice head. Starts quite malty, roasty, earthy notes, not too alcoholic. Warming malty finish, soft as velvet, light fruity hints. Quite drinkable for its strength. Really nice!

GERMAN BEER #2000 bottle, Dank an pivnizub! Deep brown colour, nearly black, with an aroma of chocolate. Intensively malty with a nice roasty character, lots of chocolate, caramel and raisins. Low carbonation, pleasant on the palate. A fine brew.

(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a small beige foamy head. Sweet toasty malty aroma with caramel, molasses and dried fruits. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly syrupy and roasty malty taste with caramel; sweet and slightly roasty bitter finish with a lasting aftertaste full of caramel/toffee. Not very complex but clean and easy going DB. 05.X.09
