Cask (gravity) @ 28th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2011, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, woody notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111209]

Pig’s Ear. Clear amber beer, tiny white head. Smooth palate, low carbonation. Very light dryness. Clean fresh light malt. Nice fresh mild hops - tangerine, orange and a little mango. Semi dry finish. Decent bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Weighbridge Brewhouse, Swindon 27/10/2011. Amber inc olour with a decent, white head. Cereal malts with a touch of sweetness, hedgerow hops, some blackurrant fruit and a decent bitter finish. Good.
