Geographical lines split English brown ales into Southern and Northern browns. Ours being of the Southern variety, is darkened with roasted barley, medium bodied and a balanced hoppiness. Northern varieties are paler and less full bodied, a close cousin to bitter.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5
On tap. Pours a clear dark brown. Aromas of nutty dusty malts and light fresh roast coffee. Flavors are same. Slightly sweet. Right on style. Nice.
