SAISON WOLF! After watching Japanese garage rock legends ’Guitar Wolf’ with Paul from @orbitbeers last year, we knew we had to brew up a beast. And here it is: a 6.2% Belgian Saison hopped with Styrian Wolf, Sorachi Ace, Dragon, & Celeia in homage to the Jet Rock Revolutionaries!

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Clapton Craft. Pours lightly hazy, deep orange-gold with a modest, frothy off-white head. Nicely rounded, somewhat sweet, with notes of lightly toasted wheat grains, subtle bitter hay, saison yeast, a little orange peel, soft warming alcohol. Medium bodied with massaging small-bubble carbonation. Lightly warming finish, somewhat grainy, background Belgian yeast, toasted sugars, wheat bread, dried citrus peel, nips of grass. Not bad overall.
