Bottled at PBF. Hazy mahogany colour, miniscule head. Distinct vinegary lactic nose. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouuthfeel. Tart white wine, vinegar and red berries. Puckering sourness takes over. Intense and well made. Too vinegary to be refreshing, and not the most complex sour beer ever, but still a mighty good sipping beer.

My first beer from Virginia! Deep red color, small beige head, Pleasant sour/bretta-lacto aroma, some fruityness. Medium-bodied. Tasty fruity (cherries, berries), sour flavor. Very juicy. Some light wood notes. Nicely balanced, delicious sour ale.

Served on cask at Beer Run. Pours a slightly hazy red color with a medium sized creamy offwhite head. Decent head retention. Aroma of tart vinegar notes, vegetal notes and faint caramel. The taste is earthy and vegetal with caramel notes and a tart finish. Medium bodied.
