Bottled. Amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, some floral, mild wooden notes with a big sweetness to it. Flavour is sweet malts, some toffee, mild floral, wooden and cardboardy notes. Some strange sweetness also in the flavour.

0.33l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a near clear light amber brown wooded one. It also has a nice little top, off-white in color and light lacing. It has a little sugary sweetness on the nose. That combined a dry grassiness and a little bit of yeast doesn't really make a way to interesting aroma. Doesn't taste any good. At all. Makes my face make funny looks this. Thin and watery in the mouth with a prickling carbonation level. A bit sickening in a way. Old rotten swollen fruits with mud and musk. This is low on the enjoyment scale. 18.12.2013

18.12.2013, 0,33l bottle sampled @ BBGTC Christmas tasting:
Small shortlasting head. Aroma is just weird, kind of neutral, something in the direction of solvent and sulfur, alcohol, almond essence, caramel. Taste is sweet, sugar, grass, caramel, almond essence, soil. Little bitterness. Next!

Bottle @ Zentraleuropäischer Wahnsinn 2. Pours hazy amber with small white head. Clear aroma of fruit and malt. Bitter, hoppy onset, giving way to fruity notes with touches of malt, ending dry. Reasonable but nothing special. Not quite like othe EPAs I have tasted.

Bottle, 5.5%. Cloudy amber colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is malty and papery with a rough bitterness. Has a little yeast, but otherwise seems rather clean. Not very good, though.

Basically, this is not an ale...it does not produce any foam at all. Regarding the tase: the only thing you can feel during tasting is: yeast. Strongly not recommended for anybody who has tasted a real ale.
