Prvič smo Limoncello IPA zvarili leta 2023 in za ta projekt na roke olupili 100kg limon. Za lupljenje smo porabili približno 24 ur. Dragocene lekcije seveda ne bomo nikdar pozabili, zato smo za letošnji recept izbrali že olupljene in že ožete limone. Tudi te so sočne in božansko dišijo. Zato vas v steklenici čaka pivo, ki bo vaše brbončice peljalo na ples. Ko boste naredili požirek, se bo vonj po limoni razširil po zraku, dražil vaše čute in vas v mislih popeljal na jug sveta, kjer poletje nikoli ne mine.

Pelicon Limoncello IPA je svetlo pivo, varjeno iz osnovnih sestavin: hubeljske vode, ječmenovega slada (gluten), limoninega soka, hmelja in kvasa.
Pivo ni primerno za staranje, zato ga popijte čim prej.
Nepasterizirano in nefiltrirano.

Bottled 500ml. -from E.Leclerc Ljubljana, shared with Hrabren & Marko. Orange/golden coloured, small to medium white head that went away fast, radlerish nose. Lime radlerish taste with notes of limoncello and moderate carbonation. Herbal lemony finish. Interesting.

0.5l bottle, huge thanks Ogi! Hazy golden body, off-white head. Huge lime juice aroma, sweetish and malty somewhat. Tart lime taste, very radlerish, dried out quite a bit, bit earthy in the finish. The base doesn't seem to be IPA-ish at all... but it's a decent summer beer.

0.5 l bottle thanks to Ogi, shared with Marko and him. Unclear orange, minimal head, sparkling. Aroma is lemon candy and lemon dishwasher liquid, along with a limoncello touch. Thin, lemon flavoured sparkling water, moderate carbonation, candy, ethanol present but quite hidden, because it's drinkable. Minimal bitterness.

Bottle. Clear darke golden, small and lasting offwhite head. Moderate lemon nose, syrupy feeling. Medium bitterness, some sweetenss later on. Finish quite tart, lemony. Aftertaste follows. Light, fresh. A bit too limoncello-like for me, but that's what it should be like.
