Bottle at home. It pours orange - rose with a white head. Suspended particles no matter how careful the pour... The aroma is tart, tangy, yet savoury, sour plum, salty, umeboshi, funk and wet hay. The taste is dry, tart, tangy, bit of acidity, funky, sweaty, puckering sour plum, sour candy, bit of lactic acidity and hay with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth feel. Lacks a bit of depth perhaps, but it's fun nonetheless.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - deep damson with a nice tight lacy head. Nose - earthy, sour and then comes the plum. And it's more like damson. Taste - tart damson, dry spicy earth too. Palate - light bodied and tangy. Dry finish. Overall - good.
