On keg at Monty's Bar. Appearance - golden amber with decent lacing. Nose - orange and light biscuit. Taste - more biscuit this time but still citrus clinging on. Palate - light bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture. Dry crunchy finish. Overall - decent.

Keg at Craftsman Company, Aberdeen. It pours lightly hazy deep gold with a small white head. The aroma is quite soft, bready, brioche, touch of white grape, lemon sherbet and green apple. The taste is crisp, dry, quite bitter, pithy, zesty, citrus peel, straw, grass, cracker, white grape skin, pine needles and some greenness/rawness on the back end. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Maybe a 5ouch raw, but decent anyhow.

Cask at the hanging bat. Pours yellow orange, nose is pineapple, mango, toffee, taste is sweet toffee, grassy, herbal. --- Beer merged from original tick of Southern Pale Ale on 04 Sep 2018 at 09:30 - Score: 6
