Cask at the old fountain, as espresso stout. Pours black, nose is coffee, liquorice, caramel, taste is roasted, coffee, liquorice, creamy.

Cask gravity at the St Albans BEER festival 2017. A jey black dark brown coloured pour with a a loose tan head. Aroma is woody coffee bean, wet socks, nutty roast, pecan, and wood. Flavour is composed of light ashy roast, liquorice, coffee bean, and wood. Little woody bark in there as well palate is little flabby, oily, lowish carbonation.. Lingering bitter liquorice.
