Bottle at home, gusher. Pours deep brown, nose is coconut, leather, chocolate,some funk, taste is sweet toffee, chocolate, cherry, quite thin and soapy.

Black beer, thin off-white head. Flavour a mix of tart fruit and the spirits. The bourbon and sour cherry complement each other quite nicely, neither too dominant and still allowing a little of the chocolate and malt through. This is tasty, balanced nicely and rich but it's... a little lacking in something. I'd love to say something less wishy-washy than punch or oomph but that's kinda how I feel. It's a good beer but it could have been a great beer.
