On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - deep red brown. Autumnal. Nicely proportioned head. Nose - I let this one sit for half an hour. Ripe raspberries and some red wine coming through. Taste - woody red fruit on the taste. Elements of Flemish red without the sourness. Palate - medium bodied, woody and fairly dry on the finish. Overall - interesting and different. .

Keg at The Hanging Bat. It pours cloudy bright red with a small white head. The aroma is bright, funky, musty, sour raspberry, jam, vinous, vanilla, oak and raspberry ripple. The taste is crisp, dry, a touch tart, raspberry, oaky, bit of tannin, leather, vinous, musty, peppery spice, hay and grass with a spicy finish. Light to medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Nice bright aroma, but the taste doesn't quite live up to it. Fun nonetheless.
