From old tasting notes. Clear orange brown color. Bubbly tan head. Mild dry malt aroma. Semisweet roasted malt flavor with a light dry hop character. There is a mild complexity in the flavor. It finishes dry, yet is not bitter. Brief semi dry aftertaste. Flavor, yet not a great bock beer.

Bottle. Murky dark brown with medium sized foamy beige head, faint malt aroma, high carbonation, very little caramelized malt taste, thin body, abrupt finish with lightly bitter aftertaste. Except for the color, no evidence of being a bock.

Drinking this lightly sweet caramelized light bodied beer while listening to 80’s music is a bit like being in a movie. I’m pretty sure its an obscure Russian snuff film.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep reddish brown colour with a big, beige and creamy head. Has a malty aroma with wood, leather and some caramel and licorice. The flavour is a light version of the same and is a bit sweet and has some brown sugar. The mouth feel is watery and slick, and has a light bitterness. A balanced bock but is pretty light though.

Bottled at PBF. Clear nut brown, small head. Aroma of molasses and peppermint. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel and light body. Some bready mal, low bitterness. Clean tasting and fairly drinkable.
