Mack 1877 er produsert med ren pilsnermalt og klassisk, tsjekkisk Saazer humle. Ølet har en markert, men behagelig bitterhet og en forfriskende krydret humlearoma.

Can, thx to Rune. A clear one with a bit pale golden colored body and a dense, medium sized white head. The aroma is lightly fruity, with grass, some tropical fruits and a flowery touch. There’s a decent bitterness in the flavor, both initially and in the end, with fruitymess and some grass as well. Not much maltyness. Medium body and a decent carbonation. A decent beer, nothing more, and as it seems to be brewed for some 135 years anniversary, it’s sort of disappointing. 130111

Som forventet et helt greit standard 6pack øl. Forfriskende og godt i sommervarmen ellers ikke så mye mer enn verdens nordligste bryggeri.

330ml from tap @Ølhallen, Tromsø 12.Jun.2012. Pours a yellow clear body with small head. Fresh hops and citrus notes in aroma, this is also mirrored in the taste. A bit thin, but has become the beer I choose when the selection is limited in bars or grocery stores in Tromsø. Goes well with food to.

500 ml can, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.5%. Very pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. Fairly strong sweetish aroma of pilsener malts and grassy and floral hops. Light bodied. Some sweetness, and more distinct hops than in many other Norwegian pilseners. Not too bad.
