"The best beer I've ever made!" Screamed Mike from a top the tanks... shirtless, slightly buzzed and mad with delight. "3 long months, but worth every second!" Pale straw, white cap of foam, and only slightly hazy. The aroma is complex, like a bouquet of wild flowers and grass. Crackery malt base and a big hit of hop notes on the sip. Dry, with a snappy finish and a lingering bitterness. Important distinction: It's a Pils, not a Pilsner. Pilsner is Czech, Pils is the German counterpart. Very limited quantities of cans, here until it's gone, and the perfect beer for ringing in the new year!

This pils poured a clear yellow colour with a minimal, bright white head. A little lacing. Scents include corn, honey and dough. First swig was quite nice. Flavours of corn, light malt and hops most prominent. Finish is quite bitter with corn and hop flavour lingering.
