Long Rain is a Japanese Rice lager inspired by the eternal rains of Venus. We dry hopped our newest slammer with Lorien from Indie Hops that have notes of sweet hay, lime zest, and wildflowers.

On tap at Great Notion Portland. Cloudy golden with white head. Nice clean pilsner, malty and crispy, bit grassy. Touch of bitterness in finish.

Not really my favorite style of beer, but here goes - aromas are fresh and clean rice lager. Flavors are similar to nose, leans just slightly sweet with enough carbonation and bitter to balance. A little bit of white rice flavor. Drinkable but not memorable.

Aroma is all cereal grain, some light sulfuric character. Taste is light, crisp, and refreshing with light bready malt sweetness and a relatively high level of hoppy bitterness.

16oz can pours out crisp clean pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is light grass hops some rice notes. Taste is more of the rice malt notes and grassy hops.
