Can for a buck off the clearance rack at JRs. Pour is virtually clear pale and it has a staying white large foamy head. Very little noticeable nose, perhaps a slight clean hop perfume aroma? First taste confirms my distaste for IPA; I knew I wouldn't like it because victory is usually dead on style with their brews. But hey, I'm a beer ticking whoremonger and this cheap tick selection is terribly on style. Appalling dreadful explosive bitterness. Horrific bitter bombshell. Awful bitter projectile exploding in the pie hole. An atrocious bitter bundle. Rototilling incendiary IPA hop bitterness plowing across my taste buds. So, form this, if you like IPA, you really need to seek it out. Its certainly an above average IPA grenade. There, you have it.

Sampler at Central Jersey Beverage Festival at Mercer County Park. Medium gold pour. Frothy white head. Grainy malt aroma hints at grassy hops. Some mild citrus and pine. a bit West Coast, if you ask me.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is grapefruit rind. Flavor is more piney and grapefruit hops with a decent bitterness on the back end. This is old school IPA. Grapefruit and hello bitterness.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear gold with a very large creamy white head. Citrus/pine aroma. Med body. Dry and bitter. Flavor is largely citrus with some pale malt in light support. Hints of pine/resin. Very good.

7 week old can
A: Crystal clear pale gold with a short, dense lasting head, and clingy lace.
S: Grainy malts and herbal hops with a hint of cat.
T: Wood and herbs with a good dose of pine. Light catty notes at the end.
M: Medium body, soft carbonation and a smooth, slightly oily finish.
O: Nice to see a new IPA from Victory but not a regular sipper.
