On tap at squatters pours out a dark brown topped with a sand head. Aroma of rye, dark roast malts, and some hop notes. Taste hops, roast malts, little bitterness on the end.

On tap at the brewpub. I’m not sure how this should be listed, but the dominant character is pale ale for sure. Pours a deep brown color with a medium light beige head. A nice fruity nose. The flavor is very good with rich fruity hops, light spicy rye, chocolates, low bitterness. Basically a BIPA...or a Black Pale that is!
