Berliner Weisse is a regional variation on the white beer style from Northern Germany. Sour and tart, it’s usually served with syrup for more flavor and color. We break tradition and don’t add syrup. Instead, we add a considerable amount of Plum fruit and use a kettle sour technique to produce this delicious concoction.

Can at the house in Jackson - picked up from Bin 22. Pours unclear grapefruit pink with a foamy, white head. Light sweet flavour with low acidity, a little plum, lemon, pale wheat, mild funk. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Fairly clean finish, lightly drying, a little pink lemonade, tart plum, acidic twang. Good, drinkable beer.

On tap at the SLC brewery/taproom hazy pale purple color with a quick fizzy head. Nice bright clean lacto sourness, and modest plum/fruit flavors. This was their best of the line up. Nice and tart/crisp.
