Cask (handpump) @ Alehouse (formerly the Hobgoblin), 2 Broad Street, Reading, Berkshire, England RG1 2BH.Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, toffee, butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120502]

Cask@The Alehouse, Reading. Reddish amber colour, small white head. Aroma is toffee, mild diacetyl, some berries and mild grassyness. Flavour is caramel, fruits, some sweet hoppyness as well. Quite crisp.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2011. Pours a clear copper amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

[Cask at the Belle Vue, High Wycombe] Amber with a small white head. Light in flavour but with a decent hoppy mouthfeel, this is a decent, crisp easy drinking session bitter with a dry finish. Went down nicely.
