Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a hazy golden with no head. Heavy X-mas spices in the nose – cinnamon and cloves come to mind. Medium body, very sweet honey, prunes and overripe fruit with quite a warming alcohol sensation. Nice one. 230313

Bottle 750ml. clear glass - corked.[ Courtesy of fiulijn ]. Clear medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate honey, flowers, orange, spicy, light cinnamon. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, spicy, cinnamon, orange, honey. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20120617]

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Hazy pale golden. Aroma of orange, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sweet, near full bodied, orange and heating alcohol. Intensely warming. Plenty of spice and honey.

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small small white head. Aroma is fruity and fruity. Sweet and fruity wineous and frouity. Citric and fruity flavoured. Citric and sweet finish.

Bottled. A golden mead. The aroma has notes of christmas spices, honey, and a bit of hebs. The flavor is sweet with notes of candy, alcohol, honey, and christmas spices, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Measured Final Gravity: 1044
Nice yellow color with some golden reflex and with some micro bubbles; there is a thin deposit in the bottle. Strong aroma, peculiar; the oranges are in evidence, giving an impression of Grand Marnier; light anise seed too and cinnamon. Sweet Mead, with good honey flavor and amusing spice mix, where again the oranges are mostly evident, but also sweet cinnamon, some soap. It seems to have a correct acidity level.
Strange but good; the orange peel is more interesting than a pure spice mix of other metheglins.
