Re-rate Cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Pours clear amber with a creamy white head. Aromas of light citrus, lemon, toffee. Taste is light sweet, bitter, thin finish. 500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber, short-lived white head. Aromas of stewed apples, light malt. Taste is light malt sweet, light nuts. Clean finish.

part of my 2013 backlog, and tried at the Bowl Inn Almondsbury. The name is latin for oak leaf. Amber colour with a small white head. Aroma of toffee, and malty. Taste is sweet and malty with dark fruit.

Cask, on gravity at Bristol Beer Festival 13/3/2014. Copper in colour with a slight, off-white head. A malty bitter, with a touch of marmalade, leafy hops and decent, bitter finish. Good.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - dark amber into toffee. Nice head. Nose - spicy malt biscuits and toffee. Taste - chocolate biscuits. Spice like in a Rye beer. Palate - medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a fairly fresh finish. Overall - good example of a Bitter.

Cask (gravity) @ The 17th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light roasted. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110430]

Cask@Market Porter, London. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is tealeafs, mild lemon and some slight citrusy notes. Flavour is lemon tea, some floral notes as well as some maltyness. Pleasant and refreshing bitter.

Cask stillage at the Grape and Grain Spring Beer Festival 2012, Crystal Palace. Copper pour with a beige head. Toffee, caramel and orchard fruit nose. Nice flavour of digestive biscuits, fresh bread and caramel. Malty finish.

Cask gravity at SIBA BF South East 2011. Clear amber colour withlasting white head. Its a brown bitter that is properly bitter on the finish. Touch of tea on the flavour. But its a tasty standard bitter that is in fact bitter. Some deep orange fruit. Decent bitter.

Cask (Giddy Bridge JDW, Southampton) - Copper coloured. Fruity aroma with raisins, caramel and hops. Nicely balanced taste with fruity and hoppy notes.
