Yes there are oysters in this beer, no it doesn’t really taste like shellfish, but anyone with shellfish allergies should stay away! This is a nice rich stout with plenty of roast character, just enough hops to keep things balanced, and a bunch of fresh oysters thrown into the boil. The oysters are not strong enough to cut through all the stout flavor, but they do give a hint of briny freshness to the beer that is hard to mimic any other way.
