Dark copper with fizzy head. Aroma of grains, red currant jam, and caramel. Taste is bitter to bittersweet—ruined though by a fizzing, over-carbonated palate that’s too aggressive for the style, making further impressions futile. Medium bodied, mildly watery texture, to the dry side. Disappointing.

Bottled (from Landbierparadies). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some mild toasted notes as well as mild fruity and berryish notes. Flavour is raisiny sweet, some mild toasted notes as well as a nice bready and semi-sweet maltiness.

Bottle bought at Landbierparadies Nuremberg. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, fine malty, not too moldy. Light sourish background, modest dry. Finish well balanced, malty-yeasty. Not bad!

Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. Hazy copper/amber, mid sized head. Caramelly nose with a whiff of boiled vegetables. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with caramel and slight notes grass and butter. Mid bitter finish. Had higher expectations.
