From old notes. From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, light coffee, chocolate, wood, vanilla, alcohol, fruits. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation

On tap at CBC 2012. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Mild-malty aroma. Starts mild-malty, gets drier and drier. Hints of syrup and liquorice, modest alcoholic. Finish earthy-malty, some sharp notes. Interesting beer!

Fyldig sødmerik lukt med preg av mørk malt, humle, masse vanilje, mørkt sukker, sjokolade, litt kaffi. Fyldig sødmerik smak med preg av mørk malt, humle, masse vanilje, sjokolade, kaffi, mørkt sukker, trefat. Litt uttørrande munnfølelse, god bitterhet som set litt. Flat. Veldig god.

Draft at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours oily black-brown with a fine, beige foam head. Big vanilla and coffee nose, some nice cocoa. Huge oily vanilla flavor, medium to big sweetness, lots of mocha. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Great vanilla and mocha finish, moderate roast, mellow brownies, lasting baking cocoa. Lovely beer. Intense but luxurious with great balance.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, alcohol - cognac notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, vanilla, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120512]
