Decent barley profile here and some nice saaz, hallertau hops. Not sure of the colour for I drank it in a can. Crisp and slightly bitter finish. Can at Solly’s.

Can, labeled as simply Rhino Chasers Pilsner: Starfruit and lemon zest nose. Cloudy golden, thick lacy head. Very starfruity, mild lemon zest finish. Medium body. Sure to piss off the pils purists, but I found enjoyment in it.

The 12oz can doesn’t mention the word Pacific anywhere. Has a nice hazy yellow body, hint of green that really is true to style. Foamy white head. Straightforward session beer done right. A little heavy, but the taste and balance are really right on. The hops aren’t mesmerizing, but are certainly present. Can’t really hang at the pricepoint, but this is a great session beer..I’d drink growlers of this. Respectable offering for sure.

Smith Commons, DC tap ($6.50): Pours a slightly cloudy golden color. Aroma is grass, grain, and hops. Taste is very hop forward. There is a good amount of bitterness throughout. Definitely has that slightly skunky Pilsner Urquell element going for it. Excellent body. Virtually every aspect of this beer was pulled off with precision and grace. Excellent.

Bottled. A pale golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a bitter finish. I’m confused - what is a Pacific Pilsner? and why is it brewed on the east coast of the US? Thanks pinball for sharing.
