Traditional english bitter with a delicate balance of hops, caramel malts and yeast esters. Interlude of the slightly outlandish bitterness of Goldings and Galaxy hops is followed by a full bodied caramel backbone matching the fruitiness of english style yeast.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy dark amber with a creamy, yellowish head. Fruity, a slight greasiness. Medium body, again fruity, some nuts and a very solid base bitterness. Actually very decently made and a lot of taste for 4,4%. 070617

330ml swing-top bottle. Opens with a big shot followed by smoke. Firm beige lacing-head. Muddy apricot coloured body. Herbal hops on the nose. Mixed taste of brown malts, mid-sweet berries and herbal hops. Bittersweet endnotes. Medium to thin bodied. Fair enough (Thanks to Elisabeth for sharing at session xxxix with her and Stefan, Tromsø 20.09.2014).

30cl on tap at the brewpub. Hazy deep golden to amber with a small, but lasting white head. Malty aroma with noticable hops, quite fruity with hints of citrus and a little bit of caramel. Moderate sweet and more flavourful than expected. Fairly lightbodied with carbonation a bit on the soft side.
