Bottle @ Chriso May 14 tasting. Pours dark brown with sweet aroma, some dark treacle coming through in the taste, hints of sourness with raisins, dark fruits and muddy chocolate. Alright.

Dark brown. Aroma is mostly malty - mainly a light caramel. Toffeeish taste, decent malt character, lots of sugars. Not overly complex, but an ok scotch ale.

07/09/2012 Bir&Fud Bottega (330ml bottle). Bruna, riflessi mogano, schiuma biancastra abbondante e persistente.

Bottled, thanks to Jens. Brown with a small off-white head. Vineous fruity and rich malty aroma. Sweet malty and fruity flavour with a touch of caramel and a big vineous barley wine complexity.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Resinous grapefruity hops covers a solid, sticky, malty body with deep layers of caramel. Mild warming alcohol stays in the background. Long resiny bitterness. An intense rainy days beer.

Bottle 332 from utobeer. It pours very dark brown, decent beige head. The nose is caramel, raisin, prune, plum, coffee/roasted malt and some beef jerky. The taste is roasted malt, coffee, plum, prune, blackcurrant, cherry, bubble-gum, some meatiness, varnish, charcoal, with a dry-roasted finish. Medium-full body and moderate carbonation. Well balanced and flavoursome. Great stuff.
