33cl bottle. Pours dark brown, maybe chestnut, with generous head. Nose is very earthy, something smokey and maybe something vegetal, maybe beetroot, not quite spicy enough for parsnip. Taste is very dark chocolate, more of the earthiness and then a creamy finish. Palate is perfect - rich in structure, creamy in texture but with a finish which just drops away nicely. Overall, a wonderful experience from a very complex beer.
