Aged in fresh wine barrels, it carries more malt than any other Apothecary beer because of its limited time in barrels. It combines out wild house character with a traditional barleywine.

12.7 oz corked and caged, 2020 vintage. Aroma has notes of dark jammy fruit, lemon, wood, wild forest mushrooms, raisin--fascinating. Pours murky brown with a one finger beige head that falls into a ring immediately. Taste is moderately sour (7/10) with a light to moderate bitter finish and a hint of traditional barleywine malt sweetness. Ale Apothecary hits it out of the park again. Crazy complex and delicious.

375ml bottle pours out cola color topped with a small head. Nose has lots going on toffee rich malts light tartness some funky barrel. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts and complex light tart barrel mix.
